Chilli Pilgrimage to India 2010 or 2011

Hey guys,

I got an Idea. Why not organise a CHILLI TOUR of India ?
I know all the states and can speak 9 languages fluently.
We can start from South India the Mecca of world chillies and work up our trip to North and end it at the Naga Jolokia birth place in Assam.
It can be 3 weeks tour. What say you guys?

we can visit world's biggest chilli market
we can visit world's biggest chilli farming area.
We can visit world's biggest chilli powder making factories
Besides visiting spice manufacturing companies of repute.

i went to india last year and didn't do this.. very upset that i didn't get any chileness in ( other than eating ) i went to northern india so beautiful.

I would love to do that. Sooo many good foods to eat while you're there too! I just don't have the money for it

I like the tour Idea. can you arrange discount rates? It wouldnt be in my budget this time around, but I can see it becoming an event over time. India is a place I want to travel to this lifetime. Would Dakshineswar be on that tour? -just curious. (My apologies if I have spelled it terribly wrong. the book is in the other room).

celeste,and tkromer too,

Dakshineshwar is in Calcutta and it can fall within the ambit of tour.

Let us drum up this idea more . Let us see if we can get about five people then a lot can be saved.
