CHRISTMAS SPIRIT! Lets get into it.

As a kid in the 60's I was introduced to a lot of different styles of music by my Father. One style he was especially fond of was Folk music. He had lots of reel to reel recordings of The Kingston Trio, The Limeliters and The New Christy Minstrels. This last group was a favorite even more so at Christmas. Here's one of my favorite's of theirs. It's an Old English Story Song which is at the same time irereverant, funny but still Christmasy.

     This one's a running joke in my family. Every year, some jerk (me this year) emails it to everyone else to "enjoy". It's got to be the most un-Christmassy song ever. Including rap and metal. The video is just hilarious.
