While some may disagree, I think this is a great DIPA. Only fresher I've had is when I was down at Cigar City Brewing visiting my parents and we picked up a case of JaiLai which was canned the same day( great beer by the way).JayT said:BEER! Why, not like AB is American owned hahahahazdecker said:How far are you from CC grant?
I just saw an article from the Tampa Tribune(I think that's the paper) that Anhueuser Busch MAY buy them out. That would be a tragedy in my opinion.

Yes that I agree with completely. They were bought by a Belgium company who like any large business wants to squash all its competition.JayT said:AB is trying to kill the craft beer industry. They are the devil.

Agreed. they go and make a zillion dollar ad degrading craft brewers but the are trying to buy them all up behind the scenes. I used to love Goose Island beer, whom they bought, haven't bought it since. I guess that's big business though. At what point do you have enough success/money to not sell out to the big boys? I don't agree with it but the almighty $$$$ is powerful.JayT said:They know they can't compete because all of their attempts at craft beer fail so they are resorting to super bowl ads and such trying to undermine the industry. They don't like that craft beer is approaching 10% of the market. F them.
I hope Sam at DFH stays that way. That series they had on Discovery was canceled due to Coors threatening to pull all money/advertising if I recall. I love almost all the DFH line of brews...JayT said:I have the privilege of knowing several big-time craft brewery owners. I know that for them, it is their passion, their lifeblood. They would not sell out for any price. I have a feeling that there are many more like them in the industry. The craft beer industry is alive and well. It is growing and will continue to do so. AB and the like, can try, but will not stop them. Craft beer is here to stay. It was the first beer in this country and it will be here forever.
