Yeah, pretty happy with the find. Wondering if it'd be worth a try germinating some of the seeds anyway- seem to remember freezing will kill a fresh/undried seed embryo. Guess I'll evaluate further after I cut em open.
What happens when fresh seeds are frozen is the water in the seeds expands and destroys the seeds cells when it freezes.
Probably won't get any to germinate but maybe one seed has Eskimo genes.
Worst thing that could happen is they fertilize your potting soil.
NEVER put seeds in the trash.Always put them in soil ,gotta make sure they aren't good.
