breeding Cross Country Nurseries

I order some every year. I have had a problem twice. Once they sent me the wrong variety, and once a plant was broken off in the box. Both times they shipped a replacement as soon as I let them know there was a problem.

Should have mentioned that I love them! Their web site is major pepper porn!

I have ordered live plants from them a couple years, only problem I had once was 1 pathic plant that died within days of getting it. I never bothered with the hassle of calling them over 1 plant.
otherwise every plant I've got from them has been what its supposed to be.

as for what I ordered thats different cuz you're supposed to give substitutes, mostly I got my 1st choices, either way I still got my choices be it 1st or 2nd.

last but not least, they're very fair priced for their plants & S/H! compared to some other growers.

me personally, i'm looking forward to them opening to the public in April-ish. They're about 45min away from me. They dont stay open long.

I just received my plants. They look beautiful. Very strong and healthy. Here's what I got:
2 Bhut Jolokia
2 Devil's Tongue
2 Red Savina
2 Rocoto Red
1 Fatalli
1 Naga Morich
1 Chocolate Hab
1 Trinidad Scorpion.

Wish me luck.....

Oh Yah! Chilehunter. They do have a 40% off sale starting on June 1st. The little flyer came with my plants.
And they open up this Saturday. I may take a ride out there and check it all out. Maybe i'll bring home some goodies. :mouthonfire:

I sure wish they didn't have a 12 plant minimum. I know it probably makes more sense with shipping cost, but damn. All I want that I don't have is Arivivi gusanos, Cherio, and Cumari, and they have them all! What a selection of chiles these folks have amassed!

If they ever get douglahs, watch out. I'd take 9 of those to balance out my order..

HAHAHAHAHAHA

anyways... I ordered from them for first shipping date since I think I can handle them until a safe plant date.. I haven't heard from them on any delays or what. I didn't know they started shipping, I thought it wasn't untill april 20th or so, Crap I wanna mah Chiles! I only ordered 12 so I'm no priority lol. And guys be careful This place has great plants and everything but if you have tons of sterile seedlings you started yourself make sure you quarantine them until you are completely sure they don't have pests.

here they are.

I highly recommend Cross Country Nurseries. Not only are their plants nice and healthy, but their customer service is great. I ended up getting one plant last year that looked funky and gave them a call. In less than a week they sent out a new plant plus a free surprise plant was included. I give them 2 thumbs up.
