D3monic's 2015 Glog. Lots of Pods.

I had a great 2014 growing year and can't wait to get started on 2015. Had some issues with overwinters and aphids but I ditched them and nuked the basement. Here is last years Glog link
 
I just went through and cataloged my current seed list. Built up a bit of a collection over the course of the winter.

 Also doing a few Pineapple ground cherry tomato plants. Taste just like tiny pineapples and will be great for a salsa verde with ajis and maybe the bonda ma jacques

Thanks! Suprisingly I rarely have a fan blowing on them. I think it's just light intensity. They have no desire to stretch so they just thicken up.

No idea, got them  from juanitos so what ever kind he carries.

I don't use a fan either and my plants are generally pretty stocky, if much smaller and more crowded than yours.  Some of the annuums stretch, but the chinenses don't seem prone to that.

     Sorry to hear about your seedling tray failure. I hope the damaged plant pulls through. That happened to me a couple of years ago, so I picked up some of these.   http://parkseed.com/large-perma-nest-plant-trays-and-domes/p/v1590/  They are awesome and make it really easy to move plants around this time of year for hardening off.

Are those sturdier than your typical 1020 tray? because that's what mine was on when it buckled.

     Oh, yeah. They're tough and really rigid. They're made of a much thicker gauge plastic than that floppy, black polystyrene that they make regular flats out of. I'm able to lift a flat full of 4" pots with one hand and the tray holds its shape and all of its contents just fine. 
     I was kind of leery about the price when I first saw them, so I only bought four. The next day I ordered six more and a bunch of humidomes. (The humidomes are tough, too. They feel more durable than a regular 1020 tray!) I think I found the cheapest price on Amazon.
 
I stack 2-3 1020's from the get go and usually get 3 years out of them.  It's hard to jump from a dollar per tray to a 10 dollar tray.  I have even resorted to duct tape.  I plan to build some 1' x 6' shallow trays lined with EPDM.  I just need to get down to the farm and remember where I put the EPDM.  I have a bunch from re-roofing one of the hunting campers last year.  Then it will be F&D timed watering.  Bottom watering gets really old about this time of year.

I have 2 Pimenta da neyde that have real similar foliage. Real nice looking. Except mine do not look like the mini tree you have growing in that pot.
 
Yea your de nede are purdy too. Love the coloration. That roxa would be bigger but i'm always cramming it up against the walls of the tent so it's limiting it's side growth quite a bit. .... still another month to go before plant out. Plants are starting to hit the lights. Going to have to adjust the shelves at this rate.
