D3monic's 2015 Glog. Lots of Pods.

I had a great 2014 growing year and can't wait to get started on 2015. Had some issues with overwinters and aphids but I ditched them and nuked the basement. Here is last years Glog link
 
I just went through and cataloged my current seed list. Built up a bit of a collection over the course of the winter.

 Also doing a few Pineapple ground cherry tomato plants. Taste just like tiny pineapples and will be great for a salsa verde with ajis and maybe the bonda ma jacques

Gardens become a bit of a death trap lol. 
 
Had to free a toad and a dove from the bird netting this morning and a grackle from a mouse trap on its foot. Traps where under the netting for voles so it got what it deserved but still. Probably a broken foot now. 
 
Checked garden before I left for work and had a a robin trapped in it. Bastards just won't learn.

i wish birds were my main enemies, it's the damn slugs and snails! jk, none of them are my friends! the squirrels are the worst when it comes to cucumbers!

I didn't bother growing anything in the melon family this year because last year rodents would chew into every melon and cuke just enough to make them no go. Or they would chew right through the vines.

Mice and Voles, had voles real bad last year, was killing several a day. They like the raised beds because they can tunnel through them easy and chew on the roots.

You should totally make one. I spent more on the rock than anything else on the pond. The preform drop in ones are pretty cheap.

They aren't bad, pretty much on par with the aji limon and omni colors taste wise.

Have not tried those, but I do like the criolla's. Really have no heat, but I can see them making a flavorful sauce...maybe throw in some yellow bhut or yellow fatalli to spice it up.

Bonda ma jacques have some nice heat to them as well. 
 
Aji limon is hotter than criolla

nice garden my friend ! couldn't help but notice the little solar light rock , got 3 of the exact ones . ponds are cool . gonna turn part of the remaining hole from our unground pool into one . waiting for soil to settle first . peppers looking' great !

I have 3 criolla plants growing. I do not have any Bonda ma Jacques, but I am growing Aji golden and Aji pineapple this year.

Very cool pics. I really like the overall layout of the garden. I've been working on mine off and on for a couple years now. Started with privacy fences so we could relax. My house is old, so I've got to stop on the yard to do house maintenance.


Nice pods you've got. The raised beds should get better year after year. Cool looking frog. Haven't seen a tadpole since I was a kid.
