The time-lapse videos are great.
What is your exposure interval?
 
I'll second that, your time lapses are way cool!  Mind sharing how you handled the lighting on your recent tent TL, where it looks like you used your IR during the off cycle? 
 
I used to shoot some TL's of beer yeast fermentations and lighting was always a big challenge for me.
 
Its a IR camera with IR LED lights on it, when the white light turns off the IR comes on.
Raspberry Pi board, software in MotionEye.
Plants I do 600sec intervals and combine the frames at 12fps.
The last and current ones I didnt take much time to focus so could be better, got 6 days running right now on the Kratky plants, do another day and will post it.
 
Think it was this one Im using for the plants, the outside one is a 8mp official raspberry camera.

I remembered you told me about using your IR w/ Raspberry Pi before, but I wasn't clear on the integration with the VS lighting.  Sounds pretty straightforward.  It's also helpful to know the intervals your using with plant growth.  Looking forward to the Kratky one.  Much appreciated and keep up the good!

I have grown Big Bombs for years. Chopped up good with onions and celery seed and a sweet vinegar brine make an excellent relish for hot dogs and sandwiches.
 
Neil that pepper time lapse video was siiiick!! Watching them grow at night was so cool! What kind of camera are you using to do that out of curiosity? Your plants look great! Man between you and Matt I don't think I'm ever going to complain about WA winters ever again. Insanity! Whens plant out for you? Best of luck with your season!

I use a Raspberry Pi Infrared Camera with IR source for night and the free software MotionEye.
 
its +6c right now and raining, not looking forward to tomorrows -1c. No Idea when to plant, will plant the potatoes and beets soon since they can handle the cold weather but the rest no idea, looks like might have an even shorter season then normal. This long weekend is supposed to be the "Safe" line/period to plant.
