Will we get warm weather and all the snow melts then we get another dump of snow and deep freeze, then it warms up and back down again etc.. etc..

Last couples days of 35c has made the Aphids prolific again. So much for the Marigold experiment.

on with the aphids this year. You can't seem
to win for losing! Gotta be some kind of remedy.

Whats even more scary is the lack of good insects,this morning their like nothing has changed, used to be free lunch for wasps and others, rarely seeing a wasp even.

That's an unfortunate situation you have going there. You could always import praying mantis and lady bugs

Bummer to see the aphids coming on like this again.  There's often that lag while they run rampant before the predators find them and can multiply to deal with them.  Very frustrating.

Lady bugs do FAll here, if I bought anything then it would be the Aphid Wasps.
Took garden hose to them, 99% gone, see if their back tomorrow.

As for the aphids, this cure was worse than
the disease!

Update..
Growing slow, slow recovery, temps still average 10-12c at night. I fear an even earlier winter coming.
Pumpkin Habs keeping on the porch. Weeds doing real well this year.

The hail has hit around me but I've been fortunate. Most of the hail that passed into Sk stopped around Assiniboia. I hope you made it through unscathed DF.

Some updates. The Ring of Fire peppers can see why their called rings.

DF your Ring of Fire look amazing. I grew them last year and they just looked like normal cayenne just a bit hotter.
