we going to have some disc support up in t.h.p.

tell us about your favorite course, discs, training exercises, ect.

ive been playing in clearwater lately, two great courses!

it is awesome fun!

my favorite course ive ever played which just happened to be my "home" course for 6 years. was sharp springs in smyrna.tn

Smyrna is on the other end of Tn from me i think. we have 4 courses here in Knoxville now, maybe more. its been 7+ years for me. the ones i did play were pretty cool with several tight drives thru trees. i should get the bag out and dust off my discs

you so should get the bag out!

i hadnt played in like 3 years until a month ago. im more addicted now then ever!

I haven't played in over 10 years. I think I still have a bag of discs in my mom's basement, but that's halfway across the country. Do they still use the same discs? I'm trying to remember some of the names... Aviar, Cheetah, Shark, Gazelle, x-2(I think that's the name of the one Scott Stokely threw for the distance record), and Aero. Some of those might be wrong, that's all off of the top of my head.

i just started throwing after 13 years! i still have my valkaryie and aviar that were 2 of the first disks i ever bough 17 years ago, and that valkaryie still flys awesome(thew it a few times today)
discs i have currently
2 aviars(putter)169g,175g
2 valkaryies 170g 175g
teebird172g
wraith 175g,
roc 175(good stable mid range and roller
closest course is Morley field
favorite course la mirada so far as it has 36 holes and free to play
playing 2 new courses next weekend
to practice i go to an open field, pick an object and throw all my discs and see how they fly as i throw different angles, i plan to start working on my forehand flick and i can really come in handy and most of my discs break hard left and they slow so by throwing a flick the disc wil break right.

While I've never played disc-golf at an official course, been playing frisbee and disc-golf for years, post up some pics if you have a chance :)

i've been heavily involved in it for years... i own one of the top rated courses in the world (Hawk Hollow) and have played all over the place. used to own a disc golf equipment and apparel company as well. i don't play nearly as much as i used to- a couple of times a month at this point.

Hawk Hollow is the universal nexus of Chilis and Golf. http://www.youtube.com/user/glfnbob?feature=watch

Been spreading the THP love to all my DG buddies in cold New England.

I've been disc golfing long enough to be one of the old timers now. By Gawd, do I miss the Cackalack!

on disc golf course review there is a video link to biscgolf holding a tournament on his course. very nice course,i want to play during calving season though, hehe.

i just got done playing lutz executive dgc. in lutz. it was cool, every pin was on a hill making it hard and it was in the middle of a golf course making it interesting. lost a valkyrie champion in some water :mope:

now i need to go outside and do some work!

you need to go to a course and play! you will be addicted! what the heck is a frisbee??

the Mamba is an understable disk since i have a hard time getting my overstble disks to turn over early i think this disk will really allow my drives to sail! should get here this week and i will be testing it this weekend! my buddy i fish with played competatively and his buddies MArc and KEn JArvis are RETARDED disctance throwers. i watch them throw 600' drives

if anyone in socal wants to play around at La Mirada regional park one weekend let me know. i wantt to play it but dont want to drive 2 hours to play alone

i played with marc jarvis in a tournament in vegas years ago when i was still "good" - those boys are freaks of nature. if you ever meet a guy named dave devine playing in san diego give him my regards.
