disc golf!

ken climos dezigned the course in lutz i played the other day. his home course for years was coachman in clearwater. im going to try to go play a round today.if not ill just practice my putting,i have one of those canvas innova baskets.

Love my Skillshot!

Met Kenny and the Gang in 2006, when they played my home course (at the time) in Warwick, NY.
Check out the Skylands Classic DVD, Whooo!

just got done throwing two rounds at floral park in floral city. nice course!! it was windy and i threw like crap but still had a great time.

floral is a good one- it's where deanne and i usually play when we're in brooksville.

whispering pines in inverness (i think?) is the next one up the road that way- it's all wooded and will remind you more of the tennessee stuff i'd guess-very tight.

the roadie to ocala for ocala greenway is worth it though.

quick little disc review. i bought a innova mamba in the "champion" plastic 175g the rating is speed 11 glide 6 turn -5 fade 1. i went to the park to practice as i am playing 2 new courses this weeekend. well this disk flew AMAZING i threw it with hyzer and it turned over and as it slowed it faded back left first throw with it threw it 40+ feet farther than any other disk and by far farther than i have thrown any disk since my come back.

nice, let us know how you throw. has anyone seen the new vibram discs? every time i go to this one shop its hard for me not to buy the putter"cant remember the name".

the guy who runs vibram's disc venture used to live here, i've known him for years. i was one of vibram's testers for their discs for a while. they would send me a couple of whatever was new before it came out and i would throw them a bit and offer feedback. they have 4 different putters- VP, ridge, summit, and sole- i like the sole best of the bunch although i still prefer the aviar.

Order Vibram plastic directly from Steve Dodge at Prime Discs website.

I'm not one for all the newer large rim stuff, although I always carry a couple for the big holes. T-Birds, Rocs, Wizards mostly.

ETA: It also occurs to me to be hilarious that I talk chilis on the DG forums and DG on the chili forum! Am I doing it right?!

my bag:
2 aviar
2 roc
2 leopard
2 wraith
1 max
1 destroyer
1 boss

i did not throw or play this weekend due to rain yesterday and this morning, and now the wind is blowing and its cold, just gonna stay home play on PC and wait for typical SD weather later this week to go throw, and wil be playing a round Sunday weather permitting

:woohoo: i found my stingray under the mowing deck on the tractor today! practiced my mid-range game for about 2 hours. wednesday going to throw at floral park and whispering pines hopefully.

got out and threw this afternoon, and i am getting more consistant distance and flight, my mamba i have was throwing roughly 300'

nice!

me and the "BOSS" my wife are going to floral park, and whispering pines today. im stoked about whispering pines. ive looked at the course on dgcr and its just solid tight woods! it looks awesome?

70 degrees today so i'm going to try to play my course if i can get greenhouse work done.

whispering pines was super tight when we played it but it was new then too so may have opened up a bit. there are some really cool holes there as well as a few with no real route imo.
