Congrats, swabbie!

Nice to see the boys SOOO EXCITED! The one has that "are we done yet?' look!

And the lovely Retta, proud as punch~~~

Congrats! I would only have 6 years left till retirement if I would have stayed in. Now I have 32 years, LOL!

Are you active duty or reserve?

Thank you!!

I am reserve.....and I love it!

Thank you, sweetie!

Yeah, Bradley is too cool for damn near everything these days......till he wants something from me!

Retta was probably more excited than I was......she is truly an amazing woman!! :halo:

When I got home from drill, she had made baked cod with relish, wild rice, rolls, and peach turnovers....

....like I needed ANOTHER reason to love her!! :woohoo:

From a retired E6 to the New E6 congratulation!! Well deserved and earned I'm sure. Now you need to go wet down those stripes and keystone works very well for that. Though if you were to ask my step-father, retired 30 Navy, he'd say in the Navy it has to be rum. Tradition!

Congrats. My grandfather was in the Navy. I remember seeing a pic of him in his uniform. It doesn't look like the uniforms have changed at all since then.

The dress blues are damn near the same. The dress whites are going to a negative image of the blues....

I can't wait!! :woohoo:

Congrats Paulky! Are the bands on your forearm good service markings?

Not so much "good" service..;) as they are "service".

You get one stripe for every 4 years.....and after 12, you get to wear GOLD if that service has been unblemished by something naughty...

So far, I'm good to wear gold in three and 1/2 years!
