review El Yucateco XXXTRA Hot Sauce : Not a review.

Ya, I only used a pickled Bhut Jolokia the size of a nickle smooshed into some mustard for a spicy sausage-dog, but it kicked my bhut pretty good.

That's right, I put bhut mustard on my hot sausage... :D

that sauce made me panic too upon first taste without a beverage. :) i figured "well let's just take a swig here" and i kind regretted it. heheheh

havent used mine though. been using homebrew since the summer.
 
I'm kind of upset. I just bought this hot sauce and I'm not too sure if it should be rated at 11,000 SHU. Maybe I need to move up to scorpions and fatalis.
 
I had the red 1 today with my polla bandito, its nowhere near as good as the green. I will have to look for this 3rd 1 u speak of!!

I made the mistake of thinking I too was ready for that jump. Took a bite out of a Scorpion and kind of wish I hadnt.

As for the sauce its not really all that hot to me either but half a bottles worth on something added up and put out some nice heat.
 
I get mixed reviews of this sauce from here and on other sites - not sure what to think of it if i could find it for under $2 i would give it a go nice find! :cool:

So who in the hell labeled this as 11,000 SHU??? Its way more than that. Id even say closer to like 50,000. Hell I ate some Mad Dog 357 on a sandwich and didnt get the pain like that, granted it was nowhere near as much but still.

THANK YOU!!!!! I saw a little hispanic grocery yesterday and I went in and asked about the XXX. They will have it for me today!!!

I wouldn't have thought to do that if I hadn't seen this thread.:cheers:

Their green sauce rocks, so I will try the XXX even if it's $10 (which it won'e be;))
