Spraying with a mist gives you a quick green up, but putting the the water works as well.

It should say on the bag. I've heard either a teaspoon or tablespoon per gallon for potted plants. A little stronger for ground plants. I've never used it before but might experiment this year.

cool.. ill try a teaspoon per gallon for misting like pam said... i think a quart is a gallon... excuse my ignorance..lol
