Fatknuckle Jeff's (Chorizo 857) 2020 GLOG

Been starting sprouts and seeds for next year.  I don't have an indoor lighting scheme, so things will live in the garage until March 2020.

Just seeing new sprouts today!

With aphids and white flies showing up,
the ladybird beetles and lacewings can’t
be far behind. I hope they show up for
you real soon! I hate aphids.

Plants looking great with pods all over!

That good old NoFlo sun, eh Jeff

Been a little behind lately (wife would say I have been a BIG behind...). Progress on growing this year, starting to get red bhuts, yellow scotch bonnets, jalapenos, and other varieties.  My newbies are a mix of mild to hot chocolate-style peppers from around the world.  Plants are all outside, some already producing pods. These are my 4-yr old red bhut, 2-yr old scorpion, and 3 yr-old scotch bonnet, just in the backyard ring of fire.  Much more across the lot, which contributes to the overall harvest. Yes, that is a Roma tomato.

So things are getting underway, with the warm, wet weather coming on.  Scorpion peppers doing well.  Red Bhuts also.Lots of Habaneros from overwinters, and a bunch of new varieties are starting to show pods.  I went for milder to medium chocolate style peppers this season, but also have some 7-pots that are scaring me.  Also growing other garden veggies just in case.  Squash, cucs, tomatoes, beans, etc.

Sorry about last pic.  It looked OK until I committed.  Hanging garden.  We are getting afternoon monsoons now which I am concerned will cause leaf spot and other issues.  So far, So good.
I am having to harvest daily and do something each weekend, which so far is smoking and dehydrating peppers.  Will eventually make another ferment, but I want to have some of the new varieties involved.
