Walchit Jul 8, 2020 #344 It's called a "Poortex" if you use a bowl. I have one, and a bigger dog bowl I'm about to cut too. I've never done the snake method. Did you have meat on the charcoal grate too? Looked again, looks like I was seeing an elevated second grate

Ashen Jul 8, 2020 #345 Snake was on the lower charcoal grate. Meat was on the CI grill grate, and I also put another elevated grate on-top of that just to have room for all that pork belly. It was actually a cake cooling rack I stole from my wife's baking drawer. She gave me a bit of grief at first worried the heat would somehow affect it but at 225 it was fine.
