Flavours of the Caribbean (Mainly)

Thought it was about time I put on blog on here as requested by a good friend Gary (wind chicken).
I got to know Gary having done a seed trade over 2 years ago via fb, and have always admired his growing.
As title says most of my grow will be bonnets as I love Caribbean cuisine especially Jerk chicken, curry goat etc.

I started some rocotos quite early as I know they take forever to ripen..

Will make a proper grow list when I receive the p.dreadie select seeds kindly sent by Gary and one I'm pleased to have as a memory to Erin.

Another one already up and waiting to be potted on is Carrot Jolokia which I was kindly sent by Ben (bpiela), took ages to sprout a hook, but got one in the end.

Just waiting on a few stubborn bonnets to show hooks before finalizing what's a keeper.

Know quite a few of the british growers on here as there active members of a forum we all share

Trident
Dennish

Heefy Si Borg

After 10 days of top watering the 6 plants going in the autopots,
They are all now piped in and connected up, res bucket filled up and Chilli Focus added.
Valves opened and each pot now been gravity fed.

6 Specials in the auto pots , 3 plants in the chilli grow which are wick fed from a reservoir under the 3 three pots.

1 container grow in the corner which i can easily move out if the 6 specials grow like trees

Nice pics Sim. [emoji106] It looks like the Gochu is budding up well for you... I usually don't get flowers on mine before the middle of June, so you're doing very well with yours. [emoji2] Continued success... [emoji106]

Plants are looking well taken cared of. Great job Sim!

Fatality sounds interesting. Have you grown before, or is its new one?

I HAVE to try those auto pots next year. A must do on my list.

Roses look fantastic. Add some color in the garden for sure.

Have a great weekend .

Nice set-up in your greenhouse, Sim!  The plants look great
and your patio/garden is beautiful!  Our roses are just starting
to bloom in my yard.  Well, about a week ago

Good luck getting a jungle going in your greenhouse!  I agree
with Scott, won't be long now!

Long overdue a update but real life had hold of me last few weeks, anyway was topping up the auto-pots reservoir with the nutes so took a few shots.
Was over 46 c in the tunnel around midday. [emoji28] [emoji28]
Very humid as well as I soak all the wood chippings on the floor.
