What's the difference between Fresnos and Jalapenos?

Fresnos are thinner walled and probably a little hotter than most jalapenos. They are also a little bigger and have a fruitier taste

I'll likely try the fresnos next time out, but I like the meatiness of the Jalapeno.

1/5 of my 5 chile rub is fresno pepper. It's a good little pod with solid pepper flavor.

so far, the Seranno is my favourite... hot, tastey, and you can use em on almost anything...

mind you i havent tried many...lol

They aren't habaneros unless they originate from Mexico The red hots are likely more of a scotch bonnet type

i dont like the jals very much... there are loads of chili that are may better...jals are not even on my top ten..
