food Fried Chicken

Blue Corn Meal Fried Chicken
Brine
Salt, honey, water, fresh rosemary
 
Flour mix
1 cup flour, 1/2 cup blue corn meal, onion powder, garlic powder, green chile powder, paprika, lawry's seasoning, white pepper, salt, black pepper.
dip in 4 eggs and 1/4 cup milk or buttermilk.  Or you can use seasoned buttermilk and no eggs.

Came out super moist i fry mine in a big cast iron round dutch oven and i fry for 12 mins.  I like my flour corn meal mix seasoned well.
 
i like this thread. i've been struggling between losing weight and watching this thread and not eating fried chicken. I've been wanting to try popeye's ghost pepper chicken but honestly, nothing beat my recipe for prince's chicken...heavily guarded recipe
 
so i started an internship today and...there was  a popeyes 1 block away. I gave in, but they stopped the ghost pepper chicken 3 weeks ago he said :(

Love fried chicken.  Don't love waffles.  Hate them together.  I want cole slaw, biscuits, green beans and/or collards and maybe a potato or macaroni salad.  mashed is ok too
