Gator don't play no sh!t! New glog old seeds

Here we go, it has been over 5 years since I’ve done an honest grow, and unfortunately most my genetics seem to have gone south. My seed binder sat in a hot box in garage for too long after our move, and my collection has been gutted!

On to the the positive! I was able to get some plants to pop and currently have young plants of the following.

Carbonero
Farmers Market Jalapeno
NuMex Orange Spice Jalapeno
Tiger Jalapeno
Bahamian Goat
Kardoula
Coyote Zan White
Red, yellow, and chocolate Devil’s tongue
Tepiquin
Naranja Picante
Random hot garden cross (think Naga and Bonnet)
Aji Arnaucho
Ahi meloconton
Aji Largo
Aji Limo
Moruga Reaper
Mini Red Rocoto
Turbo Pube
MOA Scotch Bonnet
Jaune
Texas Long Horn
Mustard Fatalii
Home Sweet Home Pepper (sweet cross from the garden the wife makes me plant each year. Definitely has Rainforest Chili in the cross)
Garden Jalapeno
Sweet banana
Mixed bells
Handful of other unmarked seeds

I’m incredibly late to the game as most plants only have 2-4 true leaves now, but I’m planning to keep half in the greenhouse to potentially dodge the brutal south Florida Summer sun while risk the rest in the gardens.

Pictures and updates coming shortly! Stay tuned!

Didn’t really like #40, PG. Really sorry to see this
happening to you. Reminds me of TrentL last season.

Can’t provide anything but hope that you can get
out from under this calamity. Hope the mother
plants are still okay.

Trying to stay positive but we are struggling, not only did we lose considerable sales this week but I just hard to kill 40 mothers today, more coming tomorrow. Trying to stay positive, it’s always a battle if it’s worth doing. Peppers wish they were getting a little more TLC. I’m hoping to tend to the pepper grow tomorrow. Regardless I truly appreciate all the support here! Hard time are just that, times. They will always have their time and past.

They do pass my man. You’ll have to do what I did and have some trucks of dirt dropped to bring that ground up. Sorry to hear
Absolutely, we actually brought in 6 truckloads right before the rain started but to little to make an impact.

Did a little TLC in the plants today which they desperately needed. First everyone got a fungicide and weak nutritional mix sprayed foliar, NPK - 2,41,27.

Next started potting up some of starts. Think I got 15 into 3 gallon pots.

Then the 9 clones went into 1 gallon pots. 9/9 on roots and not even 1 dead leaf! Could have potted them up 5 days ago but late is better than never.

Finally everything was watered in with Cytoplex, a seaweed extract mixed with plant and root hormones, and a granular fertilizer was applied.

I bow to you, oh great clone master!

That nice family pic helps take some of the
sting out of the flooding, I hope. And that
your Rx for the other plants is successful.

Are you still underwater?

We have a bit of standing water in spots but for the first time in what feels like forever we are dry!!! Started working on triage in a greenhouse today and will do more of that tomorrow.

Here is quick video of the current indoor grow post flood. I'm holding off from posting the outdoor grow as the storm and flood really hit those plants worse than the indoor ones, who still didn't love life for the past week.

Great work on the clones! Hope you get the water situation sorted out...
Thank you, we slowly have been draining and today was the first day I did not run pumps. We are slowly drying out. However the smell is a bit stagnant now....

You can see from the video some things
got wet, but the plants look decent. I hope things
continue to dry out for you. Nothing like the scent
of waterlogged soil

Been a bit since an update. We have had an absolutely crazy couple weeks, between the flood and then a flood of sales. Busy is good but the Glog went on the backburner.

Couple updates here:

Thank you, looks your battling some weather as well. We do as we can. Luckily we bounced back out here. Hoping for some drier weather for both of us.

Small but interesting update: was going through the plants and deciding what/ if any extras I was going to repot and I spotted this. A Tepiquin took a much different morph. The pods are deep dark purple, chocolate even, and the flower stems are pink, also strong purple inside the flower as well. Caught my interest and potted this guy up.
