Gator don't play no sh!t! New glog old seeds

Here we go, it has been over 5 years since I’ve done an honest grow, and unfortunately most my genetics seem to have gone south. My seed binder sat in a hot box in garage for too long after our move, and my collection has been gutted!

On to the the positive! I was able to get some plants to pop and currently have young plants of the following.

Carbonero
Farmers Market Jalapeno
NuMex Orange Spice Jalapeno
Tiger Jalapeno
Bahamian Goat
Kardoula
Coyote Zan White
Red, yellow, and chocolate Devil’s tongue
Tepiquin
Naranja Picante
Random hot garden cross (think Naga and Bonnet)
Aji Arnaucho
Ahi meloconton
Aji Largo
Aji Limo
Moruga Reaper
Mini Red Rocoto
Turbo Pube
MOA Scotch Bonnet
Jaune
Texas Long Horn
Mustard Fatalii
Home Sweet Home Pepper (sweet cross from the garden the wife makes me plant each year. Definitely has Rainforest Chili in the cross)
Garden Jalapeno
Sweet banana
Mixed bells
Handful of other unmarked seeds

I’m incredibly late to the game as most plants only have 2-4 true leaves now, but I’m planning to keep half in the greenhouse to potentially dodge the brutal south Florida Summer sun while risk the rest in the gardens.

Pictures and updates coming shortly! Stay tuned!

Had an incredibly frustrating day running the nursery today. Clients pulling stunts extremely out of line because I’m a young nursery owner, 30, and them assuming I don’t know what I’m talking about when they hear something they don’t agree with. Almost said fuck it and walked off today. Anyway was able to find time to slip away from the madness and play with some peppers. Choose 6 beauties that got an upgrade from the 3 gallon to the 15. I was actually torn to move any plants because the 3 gallons are currently sitting in a propagation bench which get nice wind, shade, and misting for 12 seconds every 10 minutes. The plants love it. I am a bit scared that potting them up in this rare scenario may do more harm than good. We shall see. On to some pictures of our lucky 6.

Variegated Tiger Jalapeno: love the look of this plant and finally have pods sets. Beautiful and purple already, can’t wait to see what she produces come picking time.

Farmers’ Market Jalapeno: love how green and happy this plant is. Makes me smile whenever I look at her. So pretty! Still showing pube pheno types with the branching growth and hair, any idea if this is normal? Recently set pods as well.

MOA Scotch Bonnet: was torn between this and my mustard Fatalii. Went is the SB because I have a huge Fatalii from the grow down and this plant has such lush huge leaves.

Home Sweet Home, HSH: gotta plug my personal cross and keep pumping her. This mother looks like she is close to setting fruit. Can’t wait, also one of the most beautiful plants in the garden. STUNNER!

Not pictured: Ecuadorian Rocoto, gifted but Skullbiker, absolutely stunning plant with beautiful purple peppers. Didn’t snap a pic because I’m a dingus.

Finally grow down pepper:

I worked in a second-hand bookstore in the weekends when I was still a student. I loved books, I liked working, but clients... It's when I became aware of the dork-side of humanity :) Some even came with the intention - I assume(d) - to start discussions just to prove how smart they were. Don't follow Nancy Reagan, and "just say yes", receive the greenbacks, and "have a nice day".

My wive tells me this cat says chinga tu m*dre (f*ck y0*), in the case you need a diversion in the nursery

Nice plants, btw.

Been busy with the outdoor hemp grow. Basically this serves 2 purposes. First allows me to have additional mother stock outside for cloning, and second allows clients to observe how each plant does in a field simulated grow, as opposed to the greenhouse.

The plants in these rows were plants on June 18th:

Far right row was planted today (have to run the drippers tomorrow) and next to the left was done last Thursday:

This row was planted about a month ago, however it wasn’t from new clones. I used root bound 1 gallons that I needed to get out of the greenhouse:

Starting a container grow as well, the taller plants were done 12 days ago, and the small one were done today:

Even during our summer, we do not get enough sunlight hours. The lights kick on in the middle of night for a hour or two and keep the plants in vegetative stage. Without the light they would go full flower. I actually stopped running the lights the past 10 days and now the plants tried to go into flower. Now I have to cut them back and hit them hard with Urea Nitrogen to trick them back into vegetative, with supplemental light back on them.

Are some of those pods the Tibeten Lhasa? Also, have you gotten any pods from the Rocoto plant I gave you?
Yup, the Tibetan Lhasa is pumping pods. It’s all I can do to keep up with them. Unfortunately the Rocoto has yet to set fruit, plant is huge and reaching out all over the greenhouse but haven’t seen any fruit yet.
