there are MANY wonderful helpful people here who have been here for many years. When you jump into a forum with a sig line like yours, it'll put people off. "I'M IN YO FACES, MOFO" ......just sayin,,,,,
It's cool to eat hot stuff and post videos. Lots of folks young and old do it and it's fun to watch. The first vid we did of a bhut was not a bhut, but we still had fun.
Chill out, take a step back and get to know some folks before blasting off...

Dude it's not just your post. I grew my own Naga Vipers and they ended up looking like Naga Morich but the heat was pretty insane. Fowler the guy who created the Viper sent me 3 of his own to try so I'll do that on Sunday. I hope people tell me it's not a Naga Viper LMAO because that will be funny.
I have gotten a lot of shit from people in here that think they know everything. They need to just chill. I know a lot of people and yeah they could send me some bullshit but trust me I will call them out on it if I think that's happening. I had some guy send some shit he told me it was 7-Pot Primos. It was not even hot. I threw it away I think they were some mutated shit. I get people sending me stuff from all over the world and I'm only going to review real stuff. I had a BS that looked just like the photos you posted but I chose not to eat that one I gave it to a friend to eat :-)
Another thing you need to know I get hate mail daily from people because of my videos. I came here thinking people were going to be much more laid back

I enjoy watching people eating all sorts of hot stuff. MANY new posters have come in with videos and grow logs, etc with no negativity back to them. Seems like you have an "out there" personality. Like the person who walks into a party, cracks a beer and shouts, "I'M HERE! LET'S PARTY!" As if there wasn't a party going on before that~
This is a great site for crazy chileheads of all sorts. But I think it's just a little human nature coming into play here. When someone comes into the room thinking they are the greatest thing in the world, people will naturally try to knock that person off of their pedestal. Yea, it's wrong, but it's human nature.

Salsalady trust me I dont think I'm the greatest and my rectum hates me. I guess it is human nature but I am not the guy that says lets party and anyone who knows me will agree. I got a YouTube message from someone a few days ago I deleted it but it told me not to post my tasteless stupid videos here. The message has some other kind words too.
I know how to take criticism but I get tired of defending my videos. I guess I should say who cares and move on. I'm done venting.

Ted: I've been an active member of this site for a few months. I've found everyone on this site to be enthusiastic members who are here to educate and share their knowledge and resources regarding pepper growing. I've never once encountered anyone being anything less than cordial. Many people have given me free seeds as well as offer me pods with the only thing asked in return is the cost of shipping. Over the past 2 1/2 months I've learned a great deal about pepper growing. Last year was the first year I've grown them and I feel I've been informed enough where I should improve my output significantly next year. Don't take people offering their opinion or trying to educate you as "shit talking." If something doesn't look like the pepper you're claiming that it is they probably aren't harboring any vitriol towards you, but trying to help you become a more informed pepper fanatic. If I took a picture of a habanero and asked why my cayenne peppers weren't growing slim, these knowledgeable people would obviously correct me. I know that's an extreme example that I took ad nauseam, but it's the way people help each other out on here. Don't get uptight and enjoy the company of a lot of great pepperheads!

I liked your video eating the scorpion, and if that is your thing, I say go for it...it's just not for everyone else...that's why my second post said "I just don't get it"...wasn't meant to be rude...
I have held my tongue on the Naga Viper issue...and was not surprized when you just said it looked like a naga morich...the naga viper strain is not stable yet and you are going to get pods that resemble the ones used in the cross whether it be a scorpion, bhut, or naga morich...I will wait a few years until the strain is stable to grow them...if it ever stabilizes...it has been three years now since Gerald started working on this Naga Viper strain...and it takes several generations to stabilize a two way hybrid, and IMO many more generations to stabilize a three way...I would not dare sell anything that wasn't stable...accidental crosses happen and I know a lot of people that do not isolate properly to prevent crosses...I don't isolate my pods I grow at my house...and I grow about 300 plants a year in my back yard...
Be patient with the members here...and don't get your panties in a wad over such petty stuff...you have to have pretty thick skin to be in this business and you of all people should know that...
A lot of us have been growing the chili's you are testing for several years and know what's what when it comes to pod shape/size/skin texture...
The name game with the peppers is kinda funny to me...for instance, I grow Trinidad Scorpion pods that I got seedstock straight from Trinidad...they look like the Butch Ts...but I won't call them Butch T's...they are simply Trinidad Scorpions...same with the 7 Pot...Cappy came up with that name because of the "brain" appearance to the skin...I also got seed for 7 Pot from Trinidad and have had a few that have the "brain" appearance over the past several years...I think this year is the first year I have called it a Brain Strain...I usually just say 7 Pot...
If people would quit coming up with "off the top of their head" names for peppers, things wouldn't get so sticky...
I think if you leave, you will be doing yourself a big injustice...there is much knowledge to be gained on this forum, but you have to be patient...
You are not the first one people have told that's not they were claiming...many many others have also been told that and took it in stride...they didn't blow their stacks...just sayin'.....

Lets be objective for a moment. When your typing and every other word is "shit".. and calling out "haters,"... how is that laid back? Do you see anyone else doing that?(Answer is NO.) I stated my personal opinion and facts on a facebook page and you called me clueless then blocked me. It doesn't really bother me, but if you're looking for the best info on chiles you need to pay attention to those in the know. There is no hate, just a desire to discuss chiles in an open, honest environment, whether positive or negative. If every comment was positive then we would never get to the truth, would we? Nobody is picking on you, people around here are very kind but we know what these super-hot pods look like since we all grow them every year and we discuss them daily. Swearing and calling people names in not going to gain you any friends. Chill out and enjoy your stay.
