Now I'm BS posting (that's Buzzed/Sick posting....) Better get to bed. I'll catch up with y'all in the AM.

I've always wanted to do that. Get transfixed when a TV show has glass blowing on.

The dreadlocks just floor me. What is it with folks in the NW growing hair like that? Got a sis that lives in extreme northern Cali and it's common there. Ugly and it smells.

Awesome glass chili, looks a little like a short fat cayenne pepper ;) must have been loads of fun and I'd love to try one day. My gig was pottery for many years, both hand building and the wheel. Did da baking in kiln, glazing and raku style at times (first pic in this post is a raku style bowl I spun) ... Art lover here, post more :)

No longer the corrector. THE CLARIFIER

 GEEME's the Clarifyer! we're all happy to take care of our assumed roles in the daily operations of this worldwide website.

(J/K!!!! of course!!!! geeme is free to use The Corrector any time she, or CJ, or Pi, or ..... ...needs it. )

so youre learning how to make bongs?

that was mentioned before we went, but I think that's only available in "private lessons" or "advanced classes" ;)

We have some dreds in hour hometown area, but not as many as there used to be. My nose is pretty sensitive, and I didn't get any funky smells from that cat, so he must be availing himself of the modern conveniances available in the Oregon Coast. (shampoo and running water..... )

Otto, the dude who was working with me, his hair was longer than mine. He said he came to the glass studio about 6 years ago as a customer, quit his day job the next day to volunteer at the glass studio, and has since become accomplished enough to support his family with his glass art.

THAT's COOL!

It's a generic red chile, but it's a nice size. about 5" overall length. The 'Kid was watching me when the studio artist offered me the glass chile in trade for some hot sauces and he said I looked like a 4 year old on Christmas Morning.

I'm hibernating in our vacation cabin, lost my voice, coughing, hubby just told me I sound like an "old man that's been sucking on 3 packs of ciggies a day for the last 50 years..."

Last night I had the choice of another cup of broth or a glass of wine.....

ANYWAY, something's on the way to chsy for guessing the blender set up. And we may be able to pick up our creations today, or if not, then tomorrow.

I'm hunkered down with a glass of wine. If i can figure out how to make it a mulled wine with what few provisions are available in our rental place, I could claim it as "medicinal"

Glad the hair was odor free. I've had a couple of bad experiences myself but shouldn't label all like that. I understand it's hard to wash it real well without it falling apart. I'm probably just jealous of all that hair.

Do you plan on doing anymore glass work? Was it expensive?

Hope you get to feeling better real soon.
