Going to see Zappa Plays Zappa on Friday

The local collage radio station that I do voice over work for were giving away tickets to see Zappa Plays Zappa and I won them (was the first caller actually...pays to have practice at winning tickets via phone).

I'm actually really psyched. The shows at the local House of Blues (I've never seen a show at the House of Blues, I played the one out in Los Angeles, but that's not the same thing as watching a show...I hope they have good beer) so I'm really psyched about this. I'm a decent Zappa fan and to see his son pay tribute to him is a real honor.....will report back on how it goes!

Nope, regular size.

The gig was great! They were all having fun playing and boy, Can Dweezel Zappa play that guitar! Freakin great (a little to stuck on certain scales, but fast and smooth as hell). I stayed for about an hour and a half then got bored and went to a noise show. :lol:
 
Nice. I saw the show in Prague 3 years ago. I actually hadn't heard any Zappa ever before the show. I only went cause I figure it'd be something cool to see.
