off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Not sure if any of yall remember HTH but he is a member and a good friend. He got offered a head brewer position in Pensacola. So before he leaves I'm riding my bike to Clearwater today to go test out some brew and bbq. Crashing there so I'll probably try several brews. Have a great day and good morning.

48/9 and rainy today, weatherman says it might warm up a couple degrees, but pretty much supposed to stay like this and rainy through tomorrow
so much for the ground dryin up a bit so i can start prepping the garden beds  :neutral:
i think it's about the same as this time last year, i'm just once again eager to get some work done out in the garden.

Good morning everyone. Coffee and oatmeal first, a bit of shopping, and then testing a recipe for jam - strawberry champagne.

I found a few tiny aphids on some transplants. Thought I was rid of them, then I remembered buying new starting soil. I hate those buggers. So I have to inspect all of the transplants now.

Hope your weekend goes well and that a lot gets accomplished. Pay it forward.
 
Good morning.  Beautiful morning.  Rain last night and the night crawlers are out in force this morning. They were all over the driveway and sidewalk.  I picked some up to save for fishing.  The wife picked up a bunch and took them to the garden.  Got to finish the taxes today and replace the battery in the old truck.  It was dead and wouldn't take a charge.  Have a great day!
 
About a week a go I was grilling outside and it sounded like it was raining, I shined a flashlight and you could see the worms shoot back down into the ground. It was dry out, never really seen anything like it. You could hear them moving leaves around everywhere.

I'm just getting up this morning, my buddy hit me up Friday and asked me to help him change his transmission, and we arent mechanics. So after a bunch of youtube videos, we got the new granny bolted in last night. Today we will see if we can get everything hooked back up, maybe it will run lol. We only have the shop for the weekend, so hopefully we aren't there all night tonight trying to finish it.

Good morning everyone. Sunshine and warmer temps. The predicted rain went to KS. We made Strawberry Riesling Jam yesterday instead of the champagne - not really my favorite jam, but it was an experiment. I would rather have full fruit. Next batch of whatever fruits will have superhots in it.

Best of luck/skill to all the mechanics today. Have a great time at Disneyland, mpicante, should be a nice day for fun.

Yeah that is crazy. 2 feet of snow in April? I'm good on that.

We got the transmission put in yesterday, and it actually works! Not bad for 2 dummies watching YouTube to learn how to do it.

I might try to get some stuff cleaned up in the garden today. We have been having super nice weather.

The Morels should start popping soon, and I won't have any time for the garden then.
