off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning everyone. The sun is shining and melting the 6” blanket of snow we had in the past 2 days. Lots more snow for the slopes. I bought an external hard drive yesterday so will be backing up files after I get done deleting many, with lots of pictures. Someday I need to go through the mounds of physical pictures from yesteryear.

Have a wonderful day and stay healthy. Be thankful for the little things.

Bike ride with the wife and a buddy then a few chores. Yesterday was infearating. The attitudes and actions of the riders were exactly as I expected. It's why people hate cyclists and why I get harrassed when I'm buy myself obeying every rule of the road. Shame! Oh well, have a wonderful day bless up and good morning. Rest that back Harry.

Good Sunday morning all :)

Glad to be back out of the Hospital again, and with a few more answers and lots more questions
Need to clean the aquariums, and do a bug inspection on the overwintered peppers. Hopefully Azamax did the job the first time, they're all still looking good, so i might not even need to do another reapplication.

34F/1C here this morning supposed to get snow Tuesday through Friday, we shall see

Hope you all had a wonderful week, and are ready for a spectacular Sunday
 Be kind, S.M.I.L.E. :D

Good morning.  Lazy day on the agenda. Got some small farm chores to complete and that's about it.  Looks to be a little frosty outside.  I'm home through Thanksgiving and then on Saturday I'm off to Milan on business.  Making the garden plan for tomatoes today.  I've got so many seed varieties it's tough to decide on which ones to grow .... but there's a few varieties we grow every year.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Snow still on the grass, more predicted Tuesday AND next weekend. We'll take the moisture!!

GIP, many prayers for a complete recovery with answers to those questions you have.

Sic - now you know why we don't appreciate some of our cyclists. Thank you for following the rules - too many guys here are frequently color blind.

Enjoy your day and keep loved ones close.

Good morning.  Back in the office and my schedule looks decent.  The WX is beautiful.  The forecast is for near 60 today.  Completed the tomato plan for 2020.  Now that it's seed trade/exchange season, I'll probably have to re-do that plan several times  :banghead:  :banghead:.   Holding off on the pepper plan for now but I've got a good idea what we'll be growing .... unless we get some surprises.  Be safe and be good.

Oh I know Catherine, I've never been a fan of the "roadie " attitude. Luckily for some reason the ultra community recruited me into there family early on. Are training for the rides and races we do require lots of solo efforts. No hiding from the wind and no one to ease the mental. I could go on and on,lol. I'll stop. Several chores and need to go through my road bike for a little 220 mile overnight trip to Gainesville and back. Leaving Friday returning Saturday. A buddy of mine wants to get into Ultra racing and is testing the waters with back to back centuries. So I'm always down to watch someone suffer, lol. Have a great day, bless up and good morning.

Good morning everyone. Beautiful day to enjoy before the “doozy” of a storm predicted starting tonight. We will see how the weather people do this week. Like Harry, I have my tomato garden planned and have enough seeds not to trade for any more right now. Harry shared some of his tomato seeds that filled out my list. Good to get that done.

Monday errands today and maybe some jam tomorrow. I’ve been wanting to try using the pomegranate in Jam. Just an experiment.

I hope your day goes well. Travel safely and S.M.I.L.E. - thanks to GIP.

Good morning all

thanks for the prayers and kind words :)

currently 35F/2C and not yet snowing, though winter storm warning is in effect here from tonight through Sunday
(it seems every year I've been here, the first couple really good snowstorms, everyone here forgets how to drive in the snow all over again)  :hmm:

Thanks for the cheers on the OW peppers Bookers  :)  It really is a challenge in zone 4
I've limited it to; 8, five gallon, overwinters this year.  In previous years I've had 30 or 40 under HID lights all winter

Catherine, as to your pomegranate jams; I made a POM-Pequin jam a couple years back that was a hit, and several people enjoyed using as a glaze, and a few used on leftovers turkey sandwiches  :drooling:

Harry, i wish you safe travels and a fun experience on your upcoming trip to Milan

Sicman isn't 41F abnormally low for you this time of year, or am I just that unfamiliar with so. Florida weather?

hope you all have a terrific Tuesday, and a wonderful week

S.M.I.L.E. :D
and be excellent to each other

Good morning everyone. Snow again, most of the airport is closed, as are most everything else. Storm should last until tonight. Looks like it’s on its way East. You’d be crazy to go out today.

I love this snow - moisture and insulation for the plants. For Sic at 41* - that’s cold for the bones. I grew up with it, so it’s beautiful.

Stay safe this holiday week. Keep loved ones close.

Happy Thanksgiving I truly hope all of you have a blessed day. Chilling with the wife and getting bike and gear ready for tomorrow's overnight trip. As much as I love family it's kinda nice just being the two of us. Last night we started our feast. Shrimp bacon and Ice cream. Today we have more Ice cream deviled eggs and chili cheese dip. Oh and booze. Keeping it classy up in here, lol. Good morning.
