off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 49F, on its way to nowhere. Mostly cloudy and windy today. 18F tonight. The cold has returned for a few days. Another indoor futz day. Will spend it on selecting, and hopefully planting, seeds. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 33-62F and sunny. March is coming in like a lamb. Daughter’s birthday dinner tonight at a sushi place. The tempura there is very good. I’m hoping to check out the garden a bit more when it warms up, maybe work in the basement. I’m not sure what can be accomplished lately.
Enjoy your day. WX guy said the weather calendar says we’re starting Spring. That would be nice except snow is predicted this week. Hmm. We need the moisture. Stay healthy.

Good morning. It's sunny and 22F, on its way to 40F. Still too cold outside for me. Just as well. I need to keep working on the pepper list. Almost done. Hope to futz in the seedling room today as well. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and plant something!

Good morning. 32-64F and cloudy - probably building up for tomorrow’s rain or snow. Last nights sushi dinner was great. Another birthday next week, then celebrations ease up for awhile. Not much else going on so I’ll work more in the basement and listen to some great music.
Enjoy your Sunday. Relax a bit and enjoy some time for yourself.

Good morning. It's sunny and 22F, on its way to 46F. A little warmer, but still pretty chilly out there. Need to take BIL to Dr's appointment shortly, so gotta run. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 42F on its way to 60F. Mostly cloudy and breezy. Monday chores this morning. Doing mower maintenance this afternoon. We're 2.5 weeks away from starting peppers and tomatoes. We'll be planting out potatoes and onion sets too. Leftovers this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 37-61F, cloudy just waiting for rain. Monday errands, coffee group, then the day is mine. I finally got the OK from the dr. to schedule an MRI, it’s always a waiting game.
Have a great day. Our March weather is so erratic, so will enjoy the sunshine days when they appear. Stay healthy for gardening season.

Good morning. It's 54F on its way to 62F. Very windy with heavy rain and T-storms. This evening we'll be battening down the hatches for what the WX guessers are calling an extreme wind event overnight. Winter returns tomorrow with a blizzard :banghead: ! Regular futzing in the basement this morning and then going out for taco Tuesday. Casual futzing this afternoon. Leftovers this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 29-43F with the WX blizzard going East to Harry. We got a little rain, nothing like predicted. Meetings are on Zoom today, one errand. With sore shoulders I won’t get too much done today. But I’m still looking forward to gardening.
Have a wonderful day. Take time for yourself and special hugs to your pets.

Good morning. It's overcast and 56F, on its way to 62F. Rain imminent. Calling for showers/thunderstorms all day. Sounds like a good inside day. Need to fiddle-fart with the lights in the seedling room. Going to swap some new ones in, some old ones out. Probably do some other misc futzing in there as well. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and try to stay dry.

Good morning. It's 24F on its way to 44F. Blizzard conditions. Wind gusts up to 60 mph. The wind howled all night long. Cold and cloudy. Great day to stay inside and futz. Probably futz in the seedling room. I need to repot the brassicas. Got my leeks yesterday. Probably watch some Champions League this afternoon. Pizza this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 38F, on its way to 44F. Calling for clouds and wind all day. Another not so fun day. Got .80" of rain yesterday, so everything out there got a drink. I'm sure the weeds in the garden enjoyed it, ha. Was able to take some soil samples in the garden before the rain. Sending them off to Virginia Tech for analysis, just to check on its heath. I do it every 8–10 years or so. Might have a few errands to run today - not sure. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and think Spring!

I like how some of you keep a daily journal, it feels like home and is very American in my mind.
Yesterday I finished transplanting the indoor peppers, so today I started a series of maintenance tasks that have been on my to-do list for a while. I scraped off the rust and then painted the balcony railing where I will put the peppers at the end of the month. It's definitely a job that could have been done better, but I try to make do with what I have lol (a file and wall paint).
