off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 39F, on its way to 52F. Breezy and cooler, with a mix of clouds and sun. Pruned the other peach tree yesterday. Now, on to the blueberries, followed by the blackberries. Might be a little too cool out there today - we'll see. I've been over futzing, I guess. Still need to get the annuums started, lol. Maybe in the next few days, ha. Hope you're feeling better Harry, and I hope PT brings you some relief, Jane. Chronic pain sucks. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and keep your futzing level in check.

Good morning. It's 44F on its way to 72F. Sunny and warm. This cough I've got is horrible. I might have to go to the clinic. Yesterday, I finally planted the leeks, onions and peas. I've still got lots of other stuff to plant and I need to start hardening the brassicas .... they're all at least one foot tall. We'll see how the day goes. Grilling sausages this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 42-72F and dry. It sounds like you guys are very busy in your gardens. Here’s hoping for a great harvest. I start PT today, not looking forward to it. Then I start a tray of tomatoes, I hope. Another tray tomorrow. Slow and steady. Harry, I’m hoping that cough heals quickly.
Have a great Wednesday. Take time for yourself, and enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty.

Heal up Harry, relief for Jane. Was supposed to mow Dr. Bens yesterday but today instead. Spent yesterday with fence repair that was all in a huge blackberry patch. No berries yet just torn arms. 6 cows on my property that were not mine and 1 of mine on property thats not mine. Stupid pasture parasites! Hopefully a little guitar this afternoon. Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. It's frosty and 28F, on its way to 60F. Calling for a sunny day. Got most of the annuums started yesterday. I'll finish them up this morning. Then, hopefully get something done outside this afternoon. Not sure what yet, lol. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 54-70F. Yesterday was a busy day starting out for a bit pulling dead leaves from iris. Then came the dreaded PT for 30-45 min. It wore me out. Today is eye doctor and a 2nd opinion on PT. I just want to heal quicker than I am! I didn’t start the tomato seeds yesterday, maybe today.
I hope your Thursday goes well. Heal that cough, Harry and feel better. Don’t overdo in the garden.

Good morning. It's 39F, on its way to 67F. Calling for a scattered shower or two this morning, then mild and partly sunny this afternoon. Sounds like a nice day on tap. Finished planting pepper seeds yesterday. Now it's time to figure out what tomatoes to grow. That'll take a while, lol. After this morning's errand, I plan on getting something done outside. I noticed the grass (more like weeds) is starting to get pretty tall. Might need to think about mowing soon,. Hope everybody has a freaky good Friday. Be safe out there and feel better soon.

Good morning. It's 60F on its way to 75F. Warm and windy. Still got the cough but I'm on the mend. Yesterday, futzed in the garden. Planted radishes. Did a bunch of weeding. Finished the annual maintenance on the mower. I need to plant carrots and lettuce but it's too damn windy (those seeds are so tiny/light and difficult to plant when there's 40 mph winds). I'll finish planting the potatoes today and I've started hardening off the brassicas. There's always weeding and repotting of tomatoes and annuums. Running a couple of errands this morning and then out to the garden. Maybe watch some basketball later on. Grilling a jalapeno/cream cheese stuffed pork loin this evening. Yum. Probably sip on some sangria too. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's overcast and 54F, on its way to 79F. A shower or two this AM, then partly sunny and windy this afternoon. Might be an ok day. Not sure what's on tap for today. With it being so warm, I might try to get some pots sterilized. I have a few seedlings that need up-potting. Then, there's always berry pruning, which needs to be done before this warm weather kicks Spring into gear, ha. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 37-56F with rain in the early hours. So nice to see rain. I hope to work on tomato seeds and cleaning more in the basement. This afternoon is a class on handling Japanese Beetles at a nursery. It should be packed! Yesterday’s PT was OK, it still wears me out.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy Mother Nature’s beauty. Pay it forward.

Good morning. It's 42F on its way to 54F. Back to winter. Serious storms last night. Good sleeping. Scattered showers this morning. Looks to be an indoor futzing day. I've got annuums and tomatoes to repot. Might watch some basketball, futbol or baseball while I'm repotting (lots of choices). Short rib lasagna this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 64F, on its way to 78F. A scattered shower or two this AM, then breezy with a thunderstorm this afternoon. Still might be an ok day. Beautiful day to work outside yesterday. Got all the pots bleached. What a pita. Anyway, it's done now. Next up, pot-up. Learn anything useful about those JB's, Jane, lol? Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and hug a loved one.

Good morning. 30-49F, cloudy. Rain most of yesterday, so we can just stay warm inside. The JB class was packed w/poor souls trying to keep their gardens away from this voracious beast. There’s not much we can do to eliminate them at the larval state except to tear out everyone’s lawns. Not many natural predators either except for a few plants they eat like geraniums. So I guess we’re stuck. We just have to be vigilant picking by hand both morning and evening.
It’s a great day to keep the fires warming the house. Have a great Sunday. I’m thankful for the rail.
