off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 80F on its way to 98F. RF today is forecasted to be 107F. Maybe a T-Storm. Under an extreme heat warning. Back is getting better. I might try weed eating then mowing this afternoon (WX permitting). Still borrowing my sister's mower. Parts for mine should be available today or tomorrow. The boss and granddaughter finished pickling the beets and canning the carrots. Today, they're harvesting the last of the onions. Not much else is going on. BLTs this evening. @ Sic: take care. I know how you feel. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 62-95F, a hot time today. DVTs are quite painful and scary. Much better medical knowledge now that can reduce the pain. Take care of it!
Monday errands, coffee group, then medical appts. Yada yada. WX says we may have a mild monsoon T-Th, so I’m cleaning the drying garlic.
Have a great Monday. Take care yourselves and don’t overdo.

I believe I feel better, still some pain. Got home yesterday and took a 2 hour nap and I'm not a napper. Was then in bed around 6 and slept pretty decent until 3. Terrible sweats and I was cold, air is on 79. Did pick up work truck from shop yesterday after nap. Have to get some decent seat covers and couple other things before I'll be comfortable using new truck for work. Don't want to ruin things. Also no reason to stack miles on it. Old truck I've had for 21 years, its 25 years old and almost has 300,000 miles on it. Paid 4 grand for it back then. Things have changed, lol. Will be glad to get the day done and home. Easy restful evening. Supposed to rain all morning so who knows what we will get done? Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. It's 74F on its way to 98F. Breezy and sunny. RF 103F. My back is at 90%. Going to work outside today. Enough of being laid up inside. The onions have been harvested as well as the green beans. Not much left out there with the exception of the tomatoes and peppers. Planning for the fall garden planting in a week. I'm going to try to get outside and trim. The yard still needs mowing too. Jambalaya this evening. @ Sic: Good to hear that the latest DVT attack might not be so bad this time. Nothing like a good old truck. My oldest truck just turned 20 years old and is approaching 200K miles. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 72-90F with rain (!) predicted tonight. Still working on garlic and weeds. Sic-have you seen the doc yet about DVT? At least wear compression sock(s). Please let us know how things are progressing.
It looks like a hot week ahead, hope July heat will end soon. At least some dry season respite is here for us, only a few Japanese beetles so far (knock on wood). Being so late planting, they found better meals elsewhere.
Enjoy your day. Take care of yourselves. Healing takes time.

@ Catherinew: the DVT that Sic and I both have is diverticulitis. This is a disease of the digestive system. Not deep vein thrombosis.

Good morning. It's sunny and 68F, on its way to 83F. RF only 92F. Sunshine mixed with clouds. Gorgeous day! Finally home from the BBQ competition. This isn't one we judge, we help with "organizing" the Judges. It's like herding cats. On our feet at least 10-12 hrs a day, no sitting. It all hurts - feet, back, hips. It's gonna take a few days to recover, lol. Beautiful weather for the next couple of days. Cold air pushing down from Canada (briefly). Hope to get to the jungle...er...garden today, and admire the weeds. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's sunny and 65F, on its way to 85F. RF still only 93F. Sunshine with a few clouds. Another nice day. As predicted, the garden is a jungle of weeds. It's gonna take some time to regain control. Need to run a few errands this morning, then I'll begin the assault, lol. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and keep control.

Good morning. It's 72F on its way to 95F. Breezy with lots of sun but a little cooler. RF only 102F. Dewpoint came down a few degrees. Trimmed and mowed yesterday. Borrowed my sister's mower again. Of course, the parts for my mower haven't shown up yet. Fixed a small but elusive roof leak. Ironically, the boss found a leak underneath her main kitchen sink. I need to look at that today. Not much else is going on. I haven't left the property since I got back from Canada (1.5 weeks). I might make a run to town for a few things. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 63-82F, still waiting for the promised rain. Maybe today. One of the CGardeners sent me a couple of bug photos early this AM. Better check it out as I have very few at home. Dr related appts. this afternoon, so I can check out bugs this AM. All of the garlic is cleaned finally, actually finding a few cloves with mold in the dry weather. Peeled a lot of cloves for the fridge so we’re good ‘til Christmas I hope.
Enjoy the beautiful day ahead. DR and I will be weeding for quite awhile, I’m sure. Stay cool.
