Good morning. Winter is officially here. I officially hate it. Been working outside on machinery. Yesterday was 20 for the high. Damn that metal is cold. Hope you all have a great day and stay warm.
....yes its cold outside. 30's & cloudy,no snow yet..but its just a matter of time.

Good morning all. It's a cold one in NF this morning, and it is expected to get even colder in the coming days. Snow is expected too. So I need to stock up on liquor and egg nog before all the white stuff arrives.
I also need to figure out how in the hell my beanie grew legs and disappeared overnight. It's a good thing I have backups, at least.

Winter arrived with a big punch in the face.....Got the last mow in as the snow started falling at noon yesterday.
3" locally, then it turned to freezing rain late evening...Temps expected to reach 41 sometime this evening, more freezing rain for the next few hrs....
Time to get that first cup and turn up the heat. Good day for some baking.

the cold came in yesterday for us here. i thought for sure yesterday morning was gunna be a great duck hunt....not one duck, didnt even hear a shot being fired. came home for the rest of the week end. i wanted a few more ducks for a gumbo for christmas.
