I'm thinking I might do a glog this time around ...

I'm really good about photodoc'ing, but a little lax w/ posting ...

New arrivals from CCN soaking up the negative ions and perking up after their trip down the Eastern Coast ...

So, I guess I need to get some Ph down too then, darn Florida Water :)

There's probably some other way to condition the soil w/ some kind of espoma or sulfur so that it balances the water, but i think it's probably easier post plant-out to just condition the water ...

Even though I rent here, I'm pondering putting up a pair of gutter lengths on the side of the house the garden's on w/ a single half length spout dumping into a drum or what not ... that's probably the best move I've got, and it would take me half the way there to running those brown drop lines and could possibly getting me out of manually watering too =)

Cheers!

dried our first half-dozen or so mustard habbies ...

Thanks HTH ... not being lazy this year, forcing myself to do everything when I'm supposed to etc etc ...

TXCG - There was a summer, 1996 specifically, where I slept in my mom's garage on Siesta Key June --> October w/o A/C and one that was easily 1.5x that one lived above my bed ... sometimes I'd wake up and startle it and it would run up the wall ...

That's not a good memory, 100F+ in the damn garage ... having to get dressed to slacks/button-down/tie to work at Arthur Andersen ...

been reading up on surfactants and adjuvants and their chemistry and stuff for experimentation with AACT - there's a lot of depth of knowledge in the golf course maintenance space fwiw ...

here's the problem ...

that's not good enough for me. i see the little dried rings and know it can be better ...

Last year TS Debbie started the BLS right after plant out, which became a nightmare ...

This year TS Andrea started the BLS right after plant out, which will become a nightmare once more, I'm sure ...

Will be spraying copper and AACT tea and maybe some Serenade (read somewhere it's helpful) ...

This is where it stops being fun for a few months while it's super hot and rainy EVERY afternoon and it's hard to protect the leaves from molding and all of that jazz because it's humid as hell all night ...

Boo.

Nice work with the coconut oil and the AACT Grant. Be interesting to see how your soap holds up as opposed to the Coco-Wet

Man your getting a ton a maters as well as peppers, looking good brother!

BLS blues in these parts, so I'm selfishly posting some pulls to buoy my enthusiasm a bit ...

might as well leave this reminder that giving away pods makes happy - after FedEx driver praised my Topsy space and showed me his okra, collards, and black eyed peas on his phone, I plucked him a yellow 7-pot to-go =)
