I am a rookie to "The Hot Pepper", but after checking out some of the commentary, I knew I had to join.
I became a Chili head a few years ago when I started competing in charity chili cook off's sanctioned by the International Chili Society. It didn't take me long to become hooked by the competition and the great people on the cook off circuit. Soon there after I decided to try growing my own tomatoes and peppers for my chili and salsa entries. Then this year I took a little different path, and planted in containers instead of my raised beds. I have already read several posts regarding the pro's and con's of containers and picked up a few ideas that I'll be exploring in more depth.
I'm looking forward to getting new ideas and "heated" pepper discussions
