So I threw a few seeds in some dirt . 5 days later two sprouted . They are outside on my porch hardening off

So now I have 4 players . One is miles ahead of the rest .

You can never have too many horses in the race . This guy is ready for some Florida sun!!

One of those there cheat mobiles is full right now...arrived a few days ago but it has other seeds in it

These guys just started perking up. They were just stuck in the just sprouted mode for the longest time.

Gibberellic acid or gibberellin... its a plant hormone that does a variety of things including inducing cell elongation and rapid growth etc...

Here're mine from a couple days ago. The one on the left is the one I thought I had killed, and had propped up with a toothpick earlier. It recovered and is catching up.

It's in the 70s f today. Took all the babies out for some filtered sun. Warmest they have been to date. Waiving in the breeze

It sucks. By the time I get home from work the sun is already too far down to take mine out. The weekend is looking good though to take some outside.

Finally starting to grow a little after potting up. Never going to be the tallest, but if I add all the branch lengths together… :think:

It's yearning for some sun; will have to make do with the T5HOs

if you top it then all your branch lengths together would increase...hehe! Nice plant!

My poor guy was knocked over by a cat or something and drying out all day while I was at work. It looked horrible. It was completely wilted and dead looking. Thankfully I caught it in time and it bounced back after a few days. Put up a little cheap green house now for some protection.

Growdown contenders...

My growdown plants look really good...and are getting pretty tall, but they're getting outpaced by the Romy Mystery X Goat's Weeds thus far. They were all planted the same day. I have grown several over 9' and Paul G grew one of these out to 11' last year. Although they're not "stable," I am going to isolate seeds from my tallest specimens this year and if Kevin and Jamie agree will donate them for next year's grow down???

He will chill on the porch for a few days

Then in the dirt . Spicing up a hole for it :fireball:
