Try boiling them for 2 ~ 3 minutes.  This really helps to loosen the shell and stimulate early, rapid growth.

Hey guys I'm really interested in joining the growdown this year! The only problem is that I'll be in Nicaragua on the start date.... i wouldn't mind planting them on the 20th when i get back, especially since I live in Miami and it's pretty much caribbean weather year-round! Let me know if I can join!

To follow that up , The biggest rule in the Growdown Throwdown is to update with photos regularly, If you arent an active member then chances are you wont
