It isn't happy, but it's the only way it will make it to 12/31. With lows in the 40's and sunlight fading, I decided it was time.

Been scarce due to commitments and as a result poor plant has taken a hammering. Firstly didn’t take well to repotting so decided to plant out into garden and winter decided it was not done so got a bit of frostbite. She will pull through no doubt with weather getting favourable but on how much poddage I will get is anyone’s guess.

Not much...didnt pick greens. Probably about same weight left in greens.

Some really nice pulls there folks!

My plant WAS doing really well. It was cooling down, flowers everywhere, I was really excited. Then we had 19"s plus of rain in a 14 day period, all the flowers dropped and it went yellow. I should have done what I did last night before we got another 1.5"s and covered the soil portion with plastic to keep the rain out of the container. Time will tell.....

First weigh-in comes in the form of a single pod on an old weight watchers scale acquired from a second-hand store. Any doubts of this maybe being a dreadie are gone after a quick taste. I'm convinced it's the hottest thing I've put in my mouth!

Edit: scale reads around 20g (erring on the side of lower)

Dude, Ive eaten a couple this season that have laughed at my reapers They are up there with Bhuts, Scorpions, all day and taste like Fatalii!

Also, that scale is super sketch, so I went and checked you out...grabbed a handful of larger pods out there ...

right around 20g on the bigguns...

It definitely is, but considering that was my largest pod and I probably won't get many more than what are on the plant right now I'm not too worried about passing anyone up. Though if it's an issue I can void any pods I get until I get a better scale.

I unfortunately haven’t kept track of my plant’s weight, but I DID in fact weigh one particularly large pod... this feels like the perfect time to share haha

In the light of recent events, aka. Guru's last harvest

(Damn, that's impressive). I went out and emptied my plant for ripe pods. I won't have many more ripe pods, unless the weather turns around.

I'm so sorry to hear about your rain-problems Scott! We've had a lot of rain too, but nothing like what you're describing.

New total: (2166) + 814 = 2980 g

I'm honestly stunned by this amount of peppers! My freezer is full of frozen YBS, my cabinet is full of fermenting YBS, my stomach can't handle any more YBS. (Maybe tonight again)

Talking about huge pods - My heaviest pod weighed in at 22g. I can't fit that thing in my mouth (not that i wanted to).
My avg. weight is just above 16g pr. pod for this harvest - 50 pods in total.

* I have no clue why my pictures are of different sizes.

Im getting down to the last of the pods that set a while back. My plan was to pick them all at once for a massive weigh-in, but my scale had other plans, so i'm having to keep the pulls under 300g. This recent wave has produced over 1,700 grams of pure evil!
