I put these two into the raised bed yesterday afternoon.

Hope I'm not rushing things and we get no frost next 30 days.

Good looking plants, Dan. Be sure to plant
them super deep, like just the fork above ground.
My pure fish oil and diesel mix seems to be working
well, you might try it.

According to AccuWeather, just three more nights
below 40˚f. If the forecast holds, May looks good
for plant out here in zone 8a. Mine are not hardened
off enough to go into full sun yet. Yikes! I'll probably
get serious about plant-out thinking in a week or two.

Once my SLRs get into the sun, the contest is over.

Bahahaha off pheno, you told me this one was the correct pheno and the small plant with bigger pods was off pheno. Dont be trying to fool me into giving up just cuz yall are scered that this FL boy might run away with the win

I cant say Im not competitive
Your plants have been cursed by the chili contest gods.
The pods will shrivel and fall off if you don't stop all
feeding immediately. And pick off remaining flowers.
You just might save the plant and get a couple of pods
if you act fast.

Normally I would only agree with you Paul, but I'm afraid my plant moved outside this weekend already and is going to give yours a run for its money hahaha.

The number of buds I picked off must already be in the 50s, and I've decided enough is enough, so from now on, I'm letting it run its course...

This one looks like the plant in the first pic on the left. The difference is the first one on the left has some purple in the young branches...

The bulk of these seeds were from open pollinated blossoms. My Gawd man, have you seen the Guru's garden?

Final blow????

Not sure if I should have liked that...
So last night my SLCRs were floppy so I figured overheated, its occurred before but usually by 6am theyre back up again. This morning after a night of rain they were still droopy, even when I got home they were droopy. Now I go back out and all of a sudden Big Mac is coming back up. Im not sure what will happen once the normal heat returns. I cut off old leaves and took the ripe pods and there isnt a single aphid on this thing, I see none. Heres my first weigh in and pics of before and pic of after, my runt SLCR isnt phased so theoretically if this one goes I might have one but would be back at square one and guru would have to approve the swap otherwise Im out for good.
