contest Growdown Throwdown 2021 XL Antep Aci Cross

Is it just me, or are these really susceptible to BER this year? Maybe it's all the rain I'm getting. Most of them are ok, but I see a few on the plant that slowly develop small blemishes that turn into mush near the bottom of the fruit this year. Didn't see that last year at all.

Same observance here! They seem to go soft if you try to take them to a bright red ripe.

One of my two that I posted had a soft spot that is visible in the picture. I really didn't think that was ber, but it was something.
...

I'm experiencing this as well, unfortunately. Out of eight peppers picked, four had this issue. Not sure what it is either.

Very little hydro experience, but I suspect pepperguru sabotaged the seed before you ever got it. I don't know how he does it, but he changes the plants DNA intentionally making it less productive no matter how much diesel you put in that bucket
!!! I heard that microwave oven are pretty darn good at producing DNA alterations...

Woah woah woah. Yall need to slow your roll a bit! I'm still perfecting my microwave technique that I learned from and ancient shaman deep inside the most dangerous Brazilian favela. He has taught me the ways of the eagle and I'm almost ready to soar. The real mastery level is naming one wild species 5 different species and selling them for 30 bucks a seed, post special shaman eagle microwave treatment.

438 + 698 = 1,136

New leaves are coming back............again. I may just get another pull by years end.

I went back through the thread looking for weigh-ins. Thought I'd share. If I missed any, please let me know.

Also, I'm not out of this race yet! Yall need to calm down on the weigh ins! I thought for sure my special BER microwave technique would work.

Anyway....

Saw a loaded snapped branch, hanging out the top so i guess its a good time to do another harvest and add another cage....

Fourth weigh in is 1,014 grams.

So thats, 48+419+553+1,014=2034 grams to date

I just upped my liquid crab and lobster shell when hitting with the fish hydrolysate. That BER actually cleared up significantly. Now I'm making sure to water and give a lil nip of stank each time, each day. BER occurrence is probably 2/12 pods now, I guess.

Hi friends,

So my hydro plant has taken a beating and therefore I'll probably stick to my backup for the gowdown. She's gaining a bit of size and the buds are pulling in. I'm aware I probably have no real chance but it's worth a try anyway. Maybe our summer weather will bring some power. πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦
