Timber!Another three weeks, finally got some fruit, will post pics soon. (38c and hard to get motivated here)
Is it just me, or are these really susceptible to BER this year? Maybe it's all the rain I'm getting. Most of them are ok, but I see a few on the plant that slowly develop small blemishes that turn into mush near the bottom of the fruit this year. Didn't see that last year at all.
It's strange....Same observance here! They seem to go soft if you try to take them to a bright red ripe.
One of my two that I posted had a soft spot that is visible in the picture. I really didn't think that was ber, but it was something.
Off subject :My brother in law came over to get tomatoes and then took a few peppers off my growdown plant. I woulda preferred weighing them in, but I'm not in to win this thing anyways so I didn't say anything.
Greetings, I haven't got any pods yet obviously but this plant of mine almost got decimated by a fungal disease, thankfully I was able to save it. Who knows maybe they too used to the UK weather.
