Any thoughts on Growdown 2024???
R.I.P Uncle Paul
Here’s a sneak peek
Believe it or not, 30% shade cloth works WONDERS for frost, I just decided against putting it up this year. Wanted sun on FULL BLAST. Paid for that decision here at the end though. Was a very busy work week so I was simply beat by the time I had an opportunity to even prepare for the three nights of frost. Oh well. It’s these little setbacks that make it all worth it when you do get it right. Also little mental notes for when I begin building a proper, tall greenhouse. No more of this.I watched your video of Dorset Naga hit by frost, impressive.
Where I used to live, they protected the blossom of fruit trees by spraying water. The ice cap that forms around the flowers protects the flower itself from frost, and it was that mechanism I was remembered about when I saw your Dorset Naga bush, with damaged growth on top and around the plant, but not the inner part.
Anybody else still growing?
My plant was killed by frost. it's a bit frustrating because we had 2 nights of frost and since then very mild weather, if I had protected my plant it would probably still be producing.Anybody else still growing?
Nearly the exact occurrence here in Ga. Just the tops of my plants though. My plant was killed by frost. it's a bit frustrating because we had 2 nights of frost and since then very mild weather, if I had protected my plant it would probably still be producing.
