Quick question, how hot are they supposed to be? The one i recently harvested are less spicy than a Biquinho

baccatum species tops out at 50k, and most are in the 5-25k range i believe. i'm not sure of the lineage of this pepper, but pretty sure it's a baccatum cross.

For what it's worth, mine seems to be nearly on par with the SRP I grew, with the exact same lip stinging burn!

I think I’ll do my first picking in the morning. I have regular stripes, fat wide stripes and even pods that have inverted stripes where the entire pod is a stripe and all but one sliver of peach color remains.

Got a few more. 86g for a total of 600g. There might not be much for a while. even though the plant is 7 feet tall it has been dropping lots flowers in the heat.

They seem very heat sensitive compared to other crossbreeds, at least that's what iI noticed over here earlier this summer.

Sounds like my opportunity to swoop in and lay the hammer down.

Been brutal/humid here. Even some volunteers in the yard I never mowed down that are doing fine and I haven’t watered them once.

First ones! Now that the heat is gone starting to see some flower action again. The darker one grew facing the sky so it’s stripe came in as a blob lol.

I cut down my stems for a more accurate weight but I see skullbiker left his on - I’d love to see a re weigh

Stems have always been fine. Almost negligible. Never been a requirement.

Harvest of the day, probably one more in september but the weather is crazy. Currently we have a heatwave with 35-36°c, and next week the forecast is 9° during the night, big temperature drop.

Total: 484+544= 1028g
Still no match for the pepperguru, but pretty happy so far.
Im going to pickle a jar of them, should be tasty.
