So this is it folks, I've recovered my password and bought 10 seedlings today from Jukka "Fatalii" Kilpinen. Didn't start any of my own seeds due to laziness, though I still might start some to sell.

Photos coming tomorrow when I clean the junk out of my sauna and establish the grow room again.

It has been like summer for the past week - shorts and sandals weather. I worked outside in the yard most of the day and managed to get a sunburn on top of my head. Also neck.

Well, there were a few days of the chilis going between sun and shade. Today they stayed in full sunlight for the entire day. There is some minor damage but not much. So now they are basically sun hardened and what does the weather do? An about face and it is supposed to be 4c (39 degrees) tomorrow during the middle of the day. Not supposed to get warm again in the next 10 days. Close to freezing during the next three nights. Insanity.

After 10 days inside, they will need to be hardened again. Damnit. Well, I am working from home until at least end of July.

It indeed is. Luckily my formentioned plants have not sprouted yet and this is supposed to last only for a day, so perhaps they won't Be ruined.

There is Time to replant new seeds but still..

I think they will be ok. We planted a bunch of flowers yesterday also.

Yup. That weather is crazy...!

I hope your plants make it!

I hired a 19 year old boy to work for me the past few days. He has so much energy and power it just blew my mind. All the tools in this world will never bring that sort of power back to me. So, tools are sort of powerful but not entirely.

I will never be 19 again.
I feel your pain, Mika!

I had that realization quite some time ago!

Not too much pain, Paul, that's why I had the youngster working for me :-)  Finally got smart instead of trying to do everything by myself.

The really cool thing is you found a youngster that would work!

I would post my 10 day, it's a few degrees warmer than SkullBiker's.. but it would generate another FU :D

Had a hail storm here a few hours ago and now it's back to full bird symphony again. My wife took a photo of it while I was out shopping for cement primer.

Do you ever get any large hail?

In the late 90's I was still working at a car dealership as a fuel and emissions/computer controlled systems technician.
I was at a college campus in San Antonio for training and the wife emailed me about the 11"s of hail that hit our town. Some was larger than a baseball.
It took out windows on 3 sides of the cars, and damaged windows and roofs on houses. The kids were in the school buses (morning ride) and they got hammered as well.
About a year and a half later we got round 2 of that nonsense. Luckily for us we just got the pea sized stuff at the house.

I hope from now on your weather is warmer and calmer ;)
