It started last night with a free ticket and backstage pass to ZZ Top. Love those guys - when I die I wanna be reincarnated as Billy Gibbons.
And my friend the stage mgr for Bill Graham Presents handed off a mixed case of LDHS to the band's road mgr, who reportedly "opened it like a kid on XMas!" - they were having Fajitas for the spread and they're all big hot sauce fans (being from TX and all...) - so it's entirely possible, and even likely, that ZZ Top was eating LDHS last night.
It sucked that they made me stick the sticker but at least I was wearing a LDHS shirt - didn't really meet anyone...rubbed elbows with a couple dudes from the Cult, but there was great coffee, ice cold water and a clean bathroom with no line just 50' away from my 4th row seat, so that was all good. At my age those amenities are way more satisfying.
Awesome way to roll the clock past midnight for my BDay!
