Having fun with my new playtoy

Nicely done Kevin!  Does the Dyna Glo have a drain plug or other grease trap at the bottom?  How does it hold temps/how often you have to add coals?  Nice looking unit and the results are superb :)
 
Holy shit that baby is glorious! I usually don't care for dark meat (except wings) but I'd stuff myself to bursting with that damn chicken. I can only imagine how good it must smell

Well I'll be damned, grew up being told they were considered dark meat even though they looked white. Works for me. Guess that explains why I like em so damn much , they aren't dark meat! Learn something new everyday. Damn now I want wings but it's only 6 am and those pics above aren't helping any
 
Did they taste as good as they look? Now that you have her seasoned up, you will have to smoke a bunch of chiles until meat prices drop back into the range of affordability!
