Hello Everyone!

Hey everyone.. I'm a newbie at the pepper growing this year, actually newbie at growing all together but I have read many of the forum pages and they all are very helpful!! . As of right now trying to germinate 3 types of peppers, big thai hybrid, tequila sunrise oriental, and tangerine dream. I have also bought a couple plants from lowes and local nursery as follows 2 tobasco, 1 thai dragon, 1 cow horn, and 1 chili red. Growing in a container system with holes in the bottom with layer of rock with a even mix of potting mix compost and peat moss as the soil, using epsom salt as a fertilizer. First main question is when should I start seeing growth in the plants that are in containers
I'm also living a proximate 45 minutes west of st. Louis missouri

:welcome: to THP J.S.S.  I am nearly on the same latitude as you and if your weather has been anything like ours the last month then growth has probably been slow.  It's been too cold and wet for nearly the whole month.  Looks like we are finally going to have a week in the 80s staring thursday. If that is the same case for you then I would expect you will see them start to snap out of it, at least I am hoping mine come around and start looking better this week  They've put up with a lot this year already...

Thank you! And I was thinking the same thing but not completely sure.. also my seedlings are only about 3 to 4 inches tall.. all have 2 leaves some starting their second set of leaves.. is it too late in the year to even think of trying to get peppers out of them? Any info will help
