Hello from England!

Hi everyone,

My name is Melissa and I live in South East England. I have been watching this forum for a few days now and have greatly enjoyed reading everyone's posts and seeing pictures from grow log updates. I first grew an interest in gardening of the edible variety last year when I grew some carrots. I wanted something more exotic and interesting this year so I'm growing a few colours of bell peppers. I know this is the hot pepper forum so I'm hesitant to show any of my wimpy bell's and their progress as they're not hot peppers! Next year if all goes well this year I'd like to grow some Jalapeno's and maybe some hotter peppers than that too. I love my spicy sauces, salsa's etc and so am really enjoying reading up on all the info available here.

hi there melissa,
don't worry that u got wimpy bell's .. or anything plant on that matter. you are welcome here to post any grow logs. the bell's u can post in the growing area and the carrot or anything in the sub section called others. :)

there are many sections in this forum. if u just wanna hang out u can go to the lounge. talk abt hot peppers in hot talk.

u can share recipes for salsa's etc.. lots of thing to talk about here:)

Hi, sorry for the late welcome but better late than never!
I will have some hot peppers spare this year, so if you want any then just ask.

And hi and welcome from South west england, I escaped from the south east some 10 or so years ago, as the great Jim Morrsison sang, The West is the Best!!
Seriously there is a wealth of knowledge and experiece here. I'm pretty new but there are some good people here.
What part of the South East are you from? there are some new Chilli festivals happening, Shoreham by Sea, West Dean, nr Chichester andthe Great dorset one too, plus Wessex, our chilli day at the nursery, Upton Cheyney?
I'm in the trade if you need anything.
Best
Matt
