Hello From Ottawa

Hi everyone, my name is Chris.  I had been living in Busan, South Korea for the last 12 years, and began growing Korean gochu peppers in my rooftop garden about 4 years ago.  Two years ago I began my first indoor hydroponic garden to grow basil since it was hard to come by.  I have always been all about spice.  Last year, my wife and I took a year long honeymoon to Central and South America, where I learned that chili peppers can be really tasty and not just hot.  Since our trip, I've kind of been obsessed with chili peppers.  I couldn't wait to grow my own and pretty much started germinating my seeds as soon as I got back to Canada.  I stumbled across this site while researching how to grow hydroponic chili peppers and am glad to be here.

Welcome! What is your all time favorite pepper?

Hmmm... not sure.  For me, it has to be a good balance between heat and flavour.  I like scotch bonnets, but was recently in the Ecuadorian Amazon and had some pretty hot and taaaasty peppers.  I'm not sure what they were, but I brought some seeds back with me.  Hopefully in a few months I'll have a bunch more.
