Hey everybody. I just found this site and love it. I have been looking for good resources for learning about and growing hot peppers/chilies. I am from Texas, but my real chile passion came from living in New Mexico for many years. I have been blessed to be part of the New Mexico chile culture. I have always grown various peppers/chiles in the garden and now want to step it up and get serious about growing exotics and as many different varities as possible.
My challenge now is doing this in Washington. I now live near Seattle and have had pretty good luck here with the easy stuff. I built a 6' x 8' greenhouse yesterday. If the rain will ever stop I intend on using my new resources to help me reach the next level of growing some serious heat. Last year I grew alot of orange habaneros in big pots along with tons of cayanne, thai, serranos, jalapenos in the garden and I got the bug bad this year.
I like this site (especially the photos!).
