HELP! I lost my recipe, is there anything I can do?

OK, so one of the 3 sauces I was pushing forward with, I cannot find the recipe for. I either threw it out accidentally or it got stuck to something else... I also can't find it in my laptop either. I have a laptop with a log of all my recipes that I type them in as soon as the batch is done.

I cannot find the recipe in the computer either. I have all the recipes up to and around this one... This is nuts.

Is there anything I can do to help pull it apart again? I have an idea of what was in there, but I used a myriad of spices and got a unique taste that people seem to love.

What's worse than not having the recipe is all my measurements I did out in grams for scaling.

Any services that can pull it apart for me?

I have less than 1 gallon of the recipe left. What can I do?

Now, refer to 12 ;)

Lost handwritten recipe and file.
Found old handwritten one, no notes.
per #12 "[background=rgb(255, 244, 228)] [/background][background=rgb(255, 244, 228)] It may have been a second copy of the sauce that I came up with as a model / core, as it's missing any of my scratch I usually mark it up with (measurements in grams, times, etc)" Did he write on his monitor? Where is his scratch.muhahahahha ;) Or is mark up in the file...too vague and I am all about 110001010010010000100010[/background]

Why are we guessing at what he meant?

But last I checked you can take your handwritten notes and enter them into a computer, unless I am missing something lol. He lost his final copy.

I would bet it's still on your computer. In the past I have wrote something in Word and then saved it to something else before remebering to save the original file. I have also saved a new file over on old file that I was using as a template and then could not find the old file. You probably just saved it under a different name. If you know the date, then look for files created or modified on or around that date. You may find it under a different filename. If you find out it was just renamed and are using Word with versioning turned on, you may be able to back out to the original file.
