I said this from day 1. There's too many cinderella's on Canada and not enough ugly sisters to balance it out. USA chose an un-orthadox, non superstar lineup, but they know how to play together. Respect to the USA team.

Massive disappointment up here.
 
At least Sweden beat Finland and that's the only thing that mattera! I guess it's the same kind of love/hate relationship as between USA and Canada:) Maybe even more as Finland was a part of Sweden for about 550 years.
 
The U.S. has some awesome goaltending, not something I can say about Canada. I predict a gold for Russia which will means no medal for Canada:(

Yeah yeah. Miller's a good goalie and you have a good team ok U.S.A i said it.. Brodeur is not like he used to be. Time to put youth in net. Luongo will get the call next game against Germany. I still have faith.

Nice Skydiver- I know, I know- congrats to them. I will boycott hockey until WI gets a NHL team though. Speakin' of them- what kinda league lets a team move from Winnipeg to Phoenix anyway?

I'm not big on the Olympics , but I think its kinda funny that Canada is hosting and they have faceplanted. If we didnt have any metals they would think its funny.And our hockey team winning is kinda like a CFL team coming down here and beating the Colts.
 
I don't think it is that much of a mismatch. More like a CFL team coming to play the lions. All the coverage I have seen throughout the olympics (not much though) is about the winner of USA/Canada should face Russia for the gold. I think the US has a good team, but lets face it, at least half of the players is the NHL are from Canada and Russia it seems like, add in Sweden, Finland, etc. and there are not a lot of Americans left, so bronze would have been fine for me. If we get better, great!

Its really all about goaltending. The team that will win has the best goalie. You can have all the offence you want but no goalie and your done. Just like in baseball when you have a dominating pitcher on the mound and nobody can hit off him

I think Canada is a beautiful place,and I like everyone I have met from there..Just a lil lite hearted ribbing.After reading it back I prolly shoulda worded it differently
