Hi! New here...and have a question!

Hey everyone! Im new to this site.. kind of awesome ! If anyone has any tips for use of this site let me know .. I am computer illiterate at times, I get lost and confused easily while wondering through sites :oP

Ok so my question: Does anyone know if I can use seeds for planting from a pepper that has been frozen? Or does good pepper seeds only come from fresh peppers?

Thanks guys! I look forward to reading all your posts !

Welcome Nicole, I think you would have better luck planting pepper seeds that had not been frozen but I guess you could try. Freezing can make the seeds useless in many cases but there are others who can tell you more.

Welcome Nicole,

First of all do not waste time in planting frozen seeds.
If it is any type of pepper, just let us know.
We will flood you with free viable seeds.
Subject to you bear postal charges.

Second,
beware of dem aussies. Dey are all big flirts...:lol:
We got a load of them hereabouts. (Now it is time for this old goat to hide)

Let me now extend my usual welcome.

Welcome from Southfield Michigan.

Welcome from Fort Worth...

as NJA said, I wouldn't waste my time with frozen seed unless it is a pepper you just have to have and can't get seed anywhere else...

Welcome from Lake Constance, Germany!

If you have tons of frozen seeds it's worth a try, if you don't expect more than one percent of viability.
